If there is one thing that I’m quickly falling in love with it’s the stylized shoot.
There is some much creativity happening and the possibilities are really endless… especially when you’re working with an awesome team! Abby from AE Creative is my table-top designing soul mate. Joni and Jennelle from Mint + Mirth are a pair of cocktail making, cute apartment living, color and texture loving angels.
Awhile back Joni emailed me to see if I had any photography of their cocktails they could use for an article on winter cocktails. Unfortunately the only Mint + Mirth cocktail I had photographed was very very summer oriented. But that got me thinking about cocktails, table-tops, and getting this team back together. We had a monstrous and wonderful experience working together for my September Stylized Wedding Shoot, so why not design a shoot just for cocktails? I called Abby to see if she’d be interested in coming with me to Portland to design and layout these seasonally themed cocktails… she was in! The shoot date quickly arrived after the New Year (HAPPY NEW YEAR TO US!!!) and we got to work.
I am so blessed to have made such good friends in Joni, Jennelle, and Abby. I see many more collaborations in our futures.
Since it’s still winter that’s where we’ll start: City + Country.
After winter we start to warm up a little bit; spring is in the air and we start to think about new love: New Girlfriend.
Summer is finally here! Let’s pack a picnic and head to the park: Free Baggage Check.
…and finally we’re back to Fall – my favorite season: Married in Manhattan.
After we were finished we realized how hungry we all were and we went out for Thai food at Beau Thai. YUM!
