Once again I thought that I already made this post… but the internet doesn’t lie (right?) so here I am writing this post literally 3 months after our session. sigh.
I’ve known Brian for a couple years now and it’s been one delicious adventure after another. Brian is a chef and caterer and it’s been my pleasure to work with him on several occasions and getting a lil’ something extra in eggs, fresh honey, meyer lemons, and produce. YUM! I knew that Chris must be a sweetie after seeing his birthday present to Brian in the form of honey bee boxes. After meeting Chris later that summer we talked about doing some couple’s portraits around their small Frasier Creek Farm property, but the busy seasons and weather just weren’t cooperating. Last August I was photographing their annual lobster feed that they do with friends and family and just after Chris showed everyone how to take apart their very own lobsters to get the most meat out of them they announced their engagement! Everyone erupted with cheers and clapping!!! YAY!!!
Fast forward to 3 months ago in March and I get to have Brian and Chris to myself for an afternoon around their property and for a short hike in the Lewisburg Saddle area. Their great BIG (and very friendly) dog Callisto joined us for the session to keep things exciting. I am very excited for their wedding this coming October on the Oregon Coast. Naturally it’s going to be a 3-day event with good company and the best food you’ve ever had. …don’t be surprised if I come back a few pounds heavier. 😉 Congratulations B+C <3
