We first met Amanda when she photographed our friends’ wedding, where we were in the wedding party. She was so great at keeping the chaos organized that we asked if she would be willing to photograph a wedding in California. We were sure she thought it was a joke, until we actually hired her to travel to our wedding. Our experience as members of the wedding party was memorable, and our experience as bride and groom exceeded every expectation. Because of the distance, we fussed around with zoom meetings in preparation and sent as many venue photos as possible, knowing that there would be almost no time for a tour of the venue prior to the event. But we never felt more comfortable leading up to the wedding. With Amanda, not only do you get a rockstar photographer, you get an experienced professional who understands the emotion and lifelong importance of every moment of a wedding. We received tons and tons of unsolicited positive feedback from our closest family and friends about Amanda. She was a constant source of support and positivity throughout the weekend. I can not express enough how grateful I am for Amanda Long! She not only was an AMAZING photographer, she was SO great at sharing her wisdom and experience with us, which made the entire wedding experience so much easier and more enjoyable. She was genuinely excited, enthusiastic, helpful, sensitive, intuitive and VERY professional throughout the entire process….from the very first email requesting her services, down to the last dance at the reception. Being 2,000 miles away from my daughter (the bride) and the wedding venue during the planning was not easy or ideal, but Amanda went above and beyond to answer any questions and put me at ease about any concerns I had.
