We were hoping for snow.
We had been planning for snow.
We got no snow.
As many of you know Oregon has had a very warm and dry winter/early spring. Most of our Cascade Mountains are severely lacking their regular snow pack …even Mt. Hood has been suffering this year. We had planned a romantic snowy picnic for the two of them, but with no snow we instead went to Eugene for waffles. Off the Waffle is my FAVORITE place to eat in Eugene and I will schedule my visits, meetings, and sessions around their open hours. Madi + Scott had heard of this magical place and were excited by my description of tasty waffles covered in pear, bacon, goat cheese, and balsamic. We decided to start our session with a waffle lunch and spend the cold (but not cold enough for snow!) afternoon exploring Downtown Eugene.
Downtown Eugene is full of color! Downtown Eugene is full of patterns, texture, reflections, and picturesque nooks.
I think I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. I’m so excited for Madi + Scott’s August wedding at home in Corvallis. #gobeavs
